Build Quality – First impressions are great. The workmanship looks great, there are no obvious joints in the outside layer of carbon and the weave of carbon is very square and certainly not twisted. The middle joint is great and has no play at all.

Handling the paddle – This is seriously light and the joint not noticeable at all. When you compare this to the Kajaksport paddle which retails at £350, it shows it up! Edges are very fine and blade ends flat. This is as it should be as there is little point creating a carbon paddle unless you maximise the properties of the carbon.

Paddling – This is not a paddle for novices. With my standHer er Paul Nicol sin statement om AKG åren:

Paddling – This is not a paddle for novices. With my standard wooden paddle it does not take a lot of technique to paddle and people who have not used a Greenland Paddle before can pick it up easily and performance not affected, this is the equivalent of driving your family car. Your paddle is at the ‘thoroughbred’ end of the spectrum, the equivalent of driving a race car, you need more experience and learning before you can handle it properly. This will make people feel very differently about this paddle. They will either love it or might hate it!ard wooden paddle it does not take a lot of technique to paddle and people who have not used a Greenland Paddle before can pick it up easily and performance not affected, this is the equivalent of driving your family car.
